We are busy turning the bright lights on inside brokerages all over the USA. The brilliance is already there. We just need to locate it and flip on the switch!

Friday The NAR show. I could have spent the entire week there. And immersed myself in the chatter and prophetic waxing laced with controversy about real estate’s hottest acronyms. I didn’t. I flew in for the day, enjoyed a bunch of clients and friends, and then left. Th...

Reminds me of a piece of advice my mentor gave me when I was a young consultant. "If you have spare time, get out of the office and see a client" I don't believe too many clients are hanging around NAR.

1000watt Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate released an iPhone App that is a departure the same old same old iPhone every other broekrage is doing. Plays well into the lifestyle branding they represent. If you have an iPhone with AT&T service that actually works download it and play around with it. http://www.bhgrealestate.com/iPhone

Trying to decide on a new home? This iPhone app lets you organize and share pictures of home listings, as well as see neighborhood information such as schools and restaurants.

While you were arguing about listing syndication, the impact of social media in real estate, tweetie vs. tweetdeck, LPS just pulled off the biggest real estate data deal in the last two centuries.

I was just recently laid off at a la mode, Inc. but right before I was let go, I released my (well, their) first iPhone app - just search for TourNarrator. I think it's pretty cool, and the PDF output of properties looks great (of course, I'm a bit biased, since it was my product and I designed/created it). LOL

Eric Duncan

Eric Duncan I have an insatiable passion for the automobile. I started reading Car and Driver and watching Motorweek at age 9. I have a vast memory of horsepower figures, model year changes going back to the sixtes. I know I could contribute so much to the twitterverse in answering questions. I would love to discuss what others... aren't. I love all the history and the evolution of the products, marketing, the interactions of human culture that changed both sides. The bailout of Chrysler in the 80's, what the big three really do to Tucker. Why GM used a two piece rear panel on the 74 vette? From 75-on it was never plauged with the split down the corvette emblem ( it was spread out at that time ) So many details can be fascinating. Can any of us can say we argued with our Stepfather at Chief Autoparts age 10 that the 1979 Lincoln Versailles didn't offer the 351, and that if you had CA Emissions, it offered the weak 302 with the variable venturi carb that stalls on cold mornings. I can. One question? Has anyone ever seen on with the floor shifter option? The 79-80 are the best looking, they had the squarer roofline and smaller back window.

Forgive my rambling, my question is, how do I use Social Media to share my passion and knowlodge and perhaps get an oppertunity to write a piece for Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Automobile, and many others?

Your Passion shows, and I think you need to start writing about it, sharing it with others on the different social networks or even START your own social networking site for all things automotive! So great to read someones passion..it puts a fire in the belly! I can dig it!
