13WHAM Weather The remains of 'Ida' will stay well south of Rochester. Our weather will remain under the control of large high pressure from Canada. Usually this means bright and sunny days with clear, cold nights. That's the story for Wed-Fri. A weak system will pass through on Saturday without too much fan-fare here. We expect some extra clouds on Saturday with the chance of a brief shower.

13WHAM Weather A cooler day coming up than recent, but still very mild for November. A high expected in the mid to upper 50s. A lot of clouds today, but we expect partial sun at times, especially during the afternoon. Skies clear out tonight which will lead to ample radiational cooling. The mercury will dip back into the 30s. Looking dry and very pleasant with more sunshine and mild temperatures for the remainder of the week.

13WHAM Weather The high today has been 68 degrees so far. Not bad by November's standards. At this point we have a hard time seeing any rain for WNY through at least Sunday. A large area of Canadian high pressure will sit over the Great Lakes this week. This 'high' will block the remains of 'Ida' and keep them well south of Rochester. Enjoy....because usually November means 'no sunshine'! :)

13WHAM Weather A very mild start by November standards. The mercury will be making a run at 70 degrees today. The last time we were in the 70s was September 24th. Looks like we will fall just shy of the record which is 74 degrees. More sunshine will continue today as well with some high clouds increasing through the afternoon. A breeze out of the south this morning will turn to the southwest.

13WHAM Weather Looking at a real chance @ 70 degrees tomorrow. The record is 74 degrees. Although the weather will be pleasant for a late November day here in WNY. The weather is not so quiet in the gulf of Mexico where hurricane Ida is bearing down on the Gulf coast tomorrow night. Category 2 at this time with winds around 105 mph.

13WHAM Weather 64 degrees this afternoon with a busy southwest wind. The leaves we're flying all over the place. A great day by November's standards. Tomorrow and Monday will be (2) more near perfect days for the area. Monday has a real shot at 70 degrees. A cold front will move through later Tuesday. For my winter enthusiasts....the flakes may fly again Wednesday night (no accumulation expected).

13WHAM Weather You can turn the heat down and save a little money this weekend as we will find the mercury climbing back well into the 50s today with a good deal of sunshine. More sunshine Sunday into Monday and it looks like we will make it into low 60's as well! Enjoy a great fall weekend!

13WHAM Weather One more chilly day across WNY wtih a northwesterly flow still coming across the Great lakes, but we will get back into more sunshine today. Then get ready for the weekend...a big warm up as the mercury climbs back above normal. Partly to mostly sunny skies along with highs in the mid upper 50s. Enjoy what looks to be an almost percect fall weekend!

13WHAM Weather Briefly dipped back to 28 chilly degrees early this morning. The unseasonably cold weather will continue for a couple more days, then a nice warm up for the upcoming weekend. As far as today, remaining mostly cloudy with some rain showers and a few wet flakes mixing in especially south. Check out our live ultimate doppler radar anytime at 13wham.com

13WHAM Weather 29 degrees this morning. We've had (2) days in the 20s already this November. Wow. Today, Thursday, and Friday will stay cooler than normal with an occasional lake effect rain shower. Some wet snow could even mix in for the overnights. A much warmer pattern will develop late this weekend and early next. 60s are within view on the 7-day forecast.

13WHAM Weather Clouds thicken after some morning sun. Most of the day will be dry, but a few showers may develop by the evening as low pressure slides across the Great Lakes. We will also encounter some rain showers overnight that may mix with some wet snow especially in the higher elevations away from the lakes. At this time nothing more than a slushy coating expected. Looking ahead to the weekend, a nice warm up will take place.

13WHAM Weather Waterspouts on Lake Erie this afternoon as cold air continues to pour south from Canada. We expect a few brief showers this afternooon and evening but most of the time should be dry. It will be very breezy and much cooler than yesterday. Expect a low in the low-mid 30s. For Wednesday it looks very similar to today with mostly cloudy skies and a high in the upper 40s. A few showers will develop late.

13WHAM Weather A very mild start, but a much cooler and breezy day coming up compared to our Monday due to a cold front working across the region. Although we expect a mainly dry day we can not rule out a passing rain shower or two. Much colder air will overspread the region which will set the stage for below average temperatures the remainder of the week.

13WHAM Weather A cold and frosty start to the morning, but this will end up being the best day of the week. Mostly sunny skies will lead into a seasonably mild afternoon with highs climbing into the mid 50s. Enjoy, because it will be turning much cooler with rain and even some wet snow flakes likely Wednesday night into Thursday.
