Sounds like the deal isn't final yet. Callaspo had a great year at the plate but he has a lot of holes defensively. Since the royals blueprint is supposedly about pitching and defense he would probably be moved in a later trade. Gordon still hasn't proved he can play major league ball, but I doubt the Royals are giving up on him as a prospect.

Neither. Washington is in worse shape than we are, so it was no fluke. But I don't think it'll be until a year or two when the Chiefs can be a winning team.

We will be much better next year, but I think it'll be 2011 before we can truly say we're ready to compete.

Daniel hit the nail on the head. We're a team in transition, the Redskins just suck.
