4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen visited Soldiers of the Highlander Brigade in Iraq Dec. 18. Adm. Mullen is our highest ranking military officer and was joined by his wife and USO celebrities Anna Kournikova, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Dave Attell. During his four-hour visit he met with leaders ...from the 4/1AD, Iraqi Security Forces, and PRTs. Twelve Junior NCOs had a special lunch with Adm. Mullen and he presented "challenge" coins to hundreds of outstanding Soldiers.

When some people hear the word "engineer," they think route clearance, but that's only a small portion of the much larger combat engineer skill set, which these Soldiers are learning to apply in new ways to support
the mission.
