I agree with Donna. I never had a high regard for Beurt Servaas anyway. He doesn't seem to serve the people of the city, he is playing politics, and hasn't achieved much in his tenure.

Plus, this year there's a BLUE MOON on NYE, so even if you only go out once in a Blue Moon, now's the time.

Thanks for all these valid points - some of these comments may show up in "The Rant" at 11pm tonight.

There seemed to be a double standard in effect. Leading up to the game, there was a lot of talk about leaving certain players in long enough for them to reach individual milestones (e.g. Clark @ 1,000 yds. receiving and Manning @ 50K yds. passing for his career), and clearly that happened. Undoubtedly most of those of those were tied to contract incentives, so maybe those incentives need to be restructured so players are paid per victory.

Your voice was always so uplifting...it really got me into the Holiday spirit! I hope they consider doing another one.
