So, it's kind of like this:
Allis-Chalmers marries Deutz. After a couple of years, they divorce, and Allis re-marries Gleaner. Allis & Gleaner have a baby, and name it AGCO (after themselves, of course). Then they adopt Massey Ferguson, Challenger (a new born from CAT), Valtra, and Fendt. A few years later, MF, Challeng...er, Fendt, and Valtra gang up and kill AGCO, trying to act as though nothing happened. However, AGCO was the most popular with its customers, and they certainly notice AGCO's absence. I hope justice is served.Read More

When i was in the state's 12 months ago one dealer told me that the agco line was going to be dropped then,i am suprised that it has taken this long for the announcement to become offical. This should have given alot of dealers enough time to get customers use to the idea of the new colour. If you what you can still buy an orange tractor in europe you just need to order it, My last two tractors went through the factory with my name on them.

Twin trac is a good feature to have. That way you can have your three mower combo on the back in on piece and you can see the mower at all times. I think Valtra and Fendt are the only ones to offer that option. Thanks for the commet.

Maybe agco could send all the Valtra's in AGCO orange to the States As you can buy them in a choice of 8 colours including orange, black, blue, yellow, red and green. Hows that for choice? Just write AGCO VALTRA on it and that will keep them happy. HA HA

wow Steff Coch and Cook git a life and learn a little us people like well me Odie and others probly know what Allis-Chalmers did like well...build parts of the Atomic bomb, built wheat grinders and well if you eat bread that means that your slice of bread went through A-C and was pluged into A-C yep they also made Electrical equiptment, rock ... Read Morecrushers, oil rigs and many other stuff like that so its hard to see something that even resemble A-C go that has so much a part in your life! And Cooke All combines today use a roder right? A-C invented that.....A-C had the first fuel-cell vehicle in the world in 1959 and A-C had verry many firsts that are used today.

Well one things for sure they are not the first tractor line to be discontinued, also with all those other things they had going its probably safe to bet that the only thing leaving is the name with all the technology be used under the other Agco name brands.Agco is doing the right thing in today's economy by reducing overhead costs in production.Better to lose one name brand then lose an entire company.

Not sure what AGCO is thinking on this one, AGCO ALLIS and they want to drop the orange line, I am not sure if its the same but around here MASSEY stands for junk even if they are the greatest in EUROPE around here they stand for junk. Orange tractors were really starting to gain numbers around here over JD and CASE I...H, not to mention they made AGCO. I never thought I would say this but I will be buying a DEERE for my next purchase because I will not drive a MASSEY even if they are the same tractor under the paint..........What a slap in the face for all AGCO fans!!!!!!!!!! Grandpa would be rolling in his grave. You really want to ruin AGCO just go ahead and get rid of GLEANOR and keep MASSEY combines and you might as well just shut your doors!!!!!!!!!!! What a JOKE!!!!Read More
