Shannon Nelson launched A Girl's Gotta Spa! on October 26, 2005 as a way to provide honest reviews of beauty products with a dose of humor. Four years later, Shannon and her blog have gotten mentions in magazines such as Glamour, Trendi, Woman's World and NailPro. In 2009, A Girl's Gotta Spa! also evolved to include men's grooming reviews with the help of her trusty sidekick, Nando.
