US forces used the uranium enriched and phosphorus bombs in Falluja..and this could be the only reason for defected births similar in Afghanistan..scientifically if we need protection during the process of production of uranium enriched bombs from radiations/fumes then it is obvious that such bombs will also have negative affects after its use..... See Moresimilarly we need isolated containers for storage of uranium waste after generating electricity to avoid radiations.....so it means the usage of phosphorus and depleted uranium showing its impact over health.

I think that you are really uncovering something important with regards to Falluja's birth defects. But it was somewhat difficult to follow Dr. Mohammed. Would it be possible for you to have another guest who can help answer the following questions:

1. Who could possibly authorize and put together a team to collect and analyze water, soil, and air samples? Who has such authority and how much money and time would such an endeavor cost? How many organizations have the skills, resources, and credibility to put together a report that people would believe and act upon?
2. Why is there not greater interest in this issue? What would it take to bring people to care more about this issue?
3. Has there been previous attempts to clean up any civilian areas anywhere in the world from the effects of Uranium shells and Phosphorus containing weapons?... See More
4. If so what was the cost of the clean up?
5. If it is determined that these weapons are the cause of birth defects what humanitarian groups would then be willing to provide aid to help the people of Fallujah? And what type of report would they consider credible enough to release such aid?

One must presume that it is in the interests of the evil axis --Iran and Syria to continue to ferment sectarian violence ,as they have no wish to see democracy and peace emerge in Iraq --so sadly maybe there is no future for Iraqi children or grandchildren !

Riz,
like the commenter above me, I'd like to to thank you for bringing this up. Many of us here in the US have been struggling to make everyone else aware of this situation.

We, the American-Kurdish population, are very concerned for the well being of the children that have wrongly been thrown into prison. Kids do not belong in jail - they need to be in school. I believe that the UN has a responsibility to stop these inhumane acts committed upon these children.

Very correct, you have the point, Pauline Ongaji children are not mature enough to make right cohices and decissions. The responsiblity is on both, the inciters who pollute minds of children and the parenst and society which is failing to protect our children from such evil mongers in the same society, we live. The child does not reach to the ill ... See Morepeople unless there is lack of check and cross check on the child by the gurdians and parents, a legislation should be made in such sensitive areas to record whom a child is meeting and interacting with, communication networks are more to blame, I feel more reaserch has to go in to this subject before any opinion is finally made.... hope this is able input for our friend Riz Khan...
