Craig Ferguson is madcap! He never says anything particularly funny, but is good at pantomiming his material's fall-down hilarity anyway.

Found it. Thanks, Ed. Richard Kind is such a goofball - and I mean that affectionately. He shakes up the whole interview.

I enjoyed Kind, too, especially when, in his urgency to be frank, he said that he wished the Coens were not present! He does seem a touch eccentric, which surely makes his "Serious Man" character all the more authentic-feeling.

Just watch the film. Quite taken by it except was the ending surprisngly formulaic? Or did I miss something; black cloud, bleak xray report; just at the moment that you think Lawrence might have a chance at one moment of new happiness.

Loved the beginning and most characters, really. Great use of period furnishings and sets. Didn't think there was that much pot among bar mitzvah boys at that time, though.

I think the black cloud and the bad x-ray was just THE BEGINNING of the downward spiral. I think that was the point...it's kinda nihilistic at its essence?

Saw him on the interview with Charlie Rose and he seems like a very nice guy aside from being an excellent actor.
