This is seriously sad - I wish we could go over to Phoenix and picket on a daily basis! I don't know how this State survives.

Please help clean up the mess in our state legislature. Now, we know why the state is in such disarray with people like that at the helm. What a nightmare since they still have how many more months left? We need some housecleaning in Phoenix.

Wow! That is scary. That guy is a idiot! Where to the Reps dig up people like that? Sounds like rhetoric someone might use in a bar, not on the floor of the state house!

Arizona House Democrats Brewer flip-flops, axes more from schoolchildren and families after she vetoed the same cuts in September. Now, the Child Support Enforcement Fund, which helps track down deadbeat parents, will lose $796,900. A trust fund that helps pay for spinal and head injuries will forfeit $556,900.

I noticed on the Senate roll call vote at azleg.gov that:

1) The names of the Republicans who voted "no" on the budget bill (for the wrong reasons, of course) don't show up. Ron Gould made a big deal of being the only Republican who voted "no", he needs to get "credit".
2) The Democrats who were absent are shown as absent, but nothing is indicated for the Republicans who were absent. Their names are not there at all.

Tomorrow is Black Tuesday for the State of Arizona. Wear black to let the legislature know that we are not happy with the cuts to education (150 million) - our teachers and students deserve better treatment. Besides, the Governor said she wasn't going to touch K-12 schools funding. We need a change in the state capital next election.
