Manic folk-rock singer-songwriter, Adrian Hardkor, writes deeply personal songs, striking vignettes of love, heartbreak, and alcohol-fueled indiscretions and recriminations. His lyrically and emotionally dense compositions draw comparisons to fellow Midwesterner Craig Finn of The Hold Steady. A veteran east coast touring, you can now find Adrian regularly on countless premier venues across the country, including: Arlington VA’s own IOTA Club & Cafe, Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, the legendary Bitter End in NYC, Boston's Club Passim, Milkboy Coffee Philadelphia, and Minneapolis’ Acadia Cafe, and has opened for Scott McMicken (Dr Dog), Cindy Bullens, Joe Shade (Sic Fucks), and countless others.

Star FK Radium, an instrumental trio of violin, acoustic guitar and drums, invokes imagery of an expansive aural landscape where things are simple, beautiful and perhaps bleak.
Abandoning regular chord structure and functional harmony, the guitar offers an arpeggio of hypnotic and ethereal notes, set as a pedal tone. Th...is juxtaposes with the drums, often set in an alternate timing, to create the effect that the parts are floating independently of each other. Meanwhile the violin connects, resonating with some feeling that exists inside of you, pulling it to the surface.

Manic folk-rock singer-songwriter Adrian Hardkor examines uncharted sonic landscapes with his new EP ‘Road To The Left’. His sound conjures the punk-inflected folk of The Avett Brothers and the “Americana Soul” of Delta Spirit, while his unique and off-kilter delivery draws comparisons to Bob Dylan, Daniel Johnston and the late Vic Chestnutt. A regular on the East coast music scene, and now with the completion of his first full-band album, Adrian is well on his way to showcase his boundless energy, ambition, talent and hope to the world.
Adrian writes deeply personal songs, striking vignettes of love, heartbreak, and alcohol-fueled indiscretions and recriminations. His lyrically and emotionally dense compositions draw comparisons to fellow Midwesterner Craig Finn of The Hold Steady. The title track of his most recent EP "Road on the Left" is a tequila-fueled rocker meditating on failed relationships, while “Catch Up” is a sweet piano-driven ballad in the vein of Randy Newman that reflects on the nature of faith and love.
