Williams High School, 3330 King St. This clinic will be focused on those at highest priority for H1N1 vaccination as designated by the Centers for Disease Control and... Prevention and who are eligible to receive the nasal form of the vaccine. This includes individuals between ages 2 and 49 who do not have asthma or who are not immunosuppressed.Read More

For now, the Alexandria Health Department only distributing flu mist H1N1 vaccine, which is not intended for individuals with chronic conditions such as asthma. The Health Department is still targeting children with its limited supplies, but hopes to open up to a broader portion of the population. Older individuals with chronic conditions should contact their physician to see if he or she is providing the vaccine to patients.
