Mahin Moghaddam-Hardman, 77, left her residence in the 300 block of Yoakum Parkway around 12 PM on Nov 5. She spoke to her son and said she was going to visit him in Fairfax lat...er that day. She never arrived at her destination nor did she return home. Moghaddam-Hardman suffers from the early stages of Alzheimer’s and has mild dementia. She may appear to be confused or disoriented. She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Visitors will learn about the history of the Defenses of Washington, the building and role of Fort Ward, 19th-century fortification engineering, and the troops who were stationed in this area during the Civil War.
