Monica M Veale I just saw your segment on people not wanting to use banks. The real issue is its simply inconvient to use a bank when you are poor. I know its hard for people to understand but when you are poor you want every penny you have. You dont want the bank holding your money not even the 5 dollar minimum balance. You have to ...realize as well, when you are living in poor neiborhoods there aren't many banks around. The corner stores where most people in poverty go to buy their milk and eggs charge extra when you use your debit card. Also banks are closed during the hours people work therefore forcing you to take your check straight to the cornerstore to turn it into a money order for rent. Not to mention the tempting fact of overdrafts that the banks love to stack on ther poor. In the poors eyes its more of an inconvience than a neccesity like the rich believe.

Could you imagine dying of Aids only because your country didn't cover retrovirals? Or slowing down cancer. I would say the world's so called greatest nations needs to understand priorities. I recall hearing the story of the young black teen who died, bleeding to death, because he had no health insurance. Unbelievable. Why dont you ask Ali what is the fear of universal health care? People will live longer, children can smile, moms will live longer, grandparents will see their kids.

Bernadette Joan Loesch In regard to Mr. Rosen and his own brand of Health Care for his workers. This is admirable on his part, but to then say he is opposed to National Health Care for all of the other millions of citizens who don't have coverage is totally inconsistant with what he is trying to accomplish. What is says to me is this; it's my way or no way.
