Andy Caffrey Ali, why do you keep having economists on your show who suddenly forget how to do math when it comes to adding up the costs of not doing cap-and-trade and even more radical measures to reduce fossil fuel emissions? Whenever anybody on your show complains about the costs to the economy of these measures, please, always ...ask them what their sum is for the costs of inaction (e.g. what's the going cost for a new life-supporting planet?).

There are no jobs on a dead planet, Ali. That's why I am running for Congress in 2010, to redirect these bank/corporate bail-out dollars to our communities to build strong local sustainable economies that reduce CO2 emissions as fast as humanly possible.

Are you guys just pretending that the North Pole isn't melting, or do you just not see things outside of NYC?
