Amana does not have Customer Service, I bought mine in 05, fan broke in 08, compressor broke in 09, repair guy came out replaced it with a part from Amana that was bad, =3erd repaire) the guy just didn't get out of the door. Still no refrigerator, food gone with what it cost for food these days, and they can't even send you a 100.00 food certificate to Krogers, never again will I buy Amana-Maytag-Whirlpool. As they are all the same com. now!!!!

****UPDATE OCT 1st 2009****

I received a phone call from someone @ Amana with regards to this page. They asked me if everything went ok, etc.. etc.. I explained to them that it shouldn't take dozens of frustrating phone calls and scathing facebook reviews to fix/replace a unit under warranty.

They then *gasp* asked me to take down this facebook review. In the end I agreed to modify it (this update), as I have no other experience to change my opinion about this company other then they care enough to do damage control. (either that or they have really creative fanboys who call me doing damage control on their behalf)

Amana is clearly trying to market, but all the marketing in the world is scarred forever by poor customer service.

I find it amusing they are on twitter/facebook, let's see if this is deleted right away - or they actually call me back to replace a 4 month old unit under warranty. I keep getting rude attitudes and the run around with everybody that can do something in "meetings" for days on end. This is a simple problem, your appliance (air conditioner) broke - it's under warranty - fix it!
