My name is Zara and I am a year and a half old Shepherd mix. My baby and I were rescued from being euthanized at Animal Control. Now that I have raised my little one, I am hoping and praying to find a great family to love and cherish. I am a very sweet dog with a heart of gold and will make a nice pet.... I am so precious and when you come walk by my cage, I will melt your heart with my beautiful eyes and sweet kisses. Please stop by and give me chance to show you how special I am, I will be keeping my paws crossed! I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. I have been at the shelter since 9/17/09.

We will have some of our loving animals at the United Supermarket at 45th and Bell on Saturday November 21, 11AM to 3PM. During this event if you adopt an animal from the Amarillo SPCA you will receive a $50 Unite...d gift card to use for the purchase of supplies for your new animal friend. My name is Pumpkin and I am a year old. I came to the shelter with my kitty friend, Farlee. Our owner could no longer keep us, they were sad to let me go and are really hoping that somebody will come along who will really love me and can give me a great forever home. I love to be loved and held like a... baby! I am very curious and have a great personality and I enjoy playing with feather toys and taking naps in your lap. I will make a wonderful addition to any home, and am praying that my special someone will adopt me soon! I am completely declawed, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. I have been at the shelter since 10/16/09.

The staff often comments on my beautiful golden eyes - they are quite lovely!- and my sleek black coat - it is quite soft! They say I'm beautiful inside and out!
