It was the only west coast publication covering the west coast motocross scene, at the time. Amateu...r MX was born in 2003 and was the sister publication taking the amateur coverage from Motocross West and expanding our coverage from west coast amateur coverage to a full blown national coverage amateur motocross magazine. We were the only monthly amateur motocross magazine on the newstands in the US. In 2008, the economy crashed, and Amateur MX Magazine went to all digital - with a twist. It is still the only monthly amateur motocross magazine on the market but is distributed at races, to the print paid subscribers and to shops on CD via the digital reader. Our readers provided the inspiration for this format and form of distribution. In 2003, we created Amateur MX Magazine, as the trend in amateur mx racing was moving more towards the national racing scene. We are the only monthly amateur motocross based publication that is on the newsstand, at the tracks and in shops.
