Hi there everyone. I am new here tonight. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma September 2004. I found a lump in my left groin. I have had chemo, radiation, and my own stem transplant was in June 2007. My oncologist is saying that the stem cell transplant worked. When I first began, I felt like I was going down a road... alone. But I wasn't. With many prayers, 5 years later, 2 years from the stem cell transplant - No activity of my cancer. This Tuesday, it is a victory. I am going back to work. The past 5 years, I have learn to think that I am not the only one that might have Hodgkin, or have had cancer. One thing I can say, Stay Positive, and fight hard. Don't give up when we have the rug pulled out from under our feet. Fight, Fight, Fight.

My wife was dx'd w/stage 3 IBC April 2008. After 6 months of chemo, then surgery, then radiation the cancer came back Apr 2009. She goes through chemo every three weeks. Hard on her - harder on me it seems - no support for the spouses. Mother (79) is dying of lung cancer and multiple myelomas and has only a few weeks t...o live.
