Thurber knew Bonner lied to Congress when Bonner claimed to have hired him as an Ethics Adviser, yet Thurber still felt like it was appropriate to buy an add in Roll Call thanking Bonner for his service to AU? Now that Thurber has issued his apology (missing from this page by the way), what ha...ppens to them? Do they continue their positions at our AU? What are they teaching a new generation of lobbyists and organizers? Are these the lessons the students will take away? Are you kidding me? Bonner had to defend his agency's outright lies and deciet to congress last week, and now Thurber is spending CCPS money to defend this guy with an ad in Roll Call? This is an absolute embarassment to AU and the SPA. As an SPA graduate, and as someone who does real grassroots organizing, not forging... letters from grassroots organizations, I am sickened that AU and Thurber would even consider doing anything but condemning Bonner.Read More
