Rep Mike Quigley [IL-5] and Rep Jesse Jackson, Jr. [IL-2] have signed on as the only two out-of-state representatives to co-sponsor legislation to protect the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River and Pratt River as wild and
scenic rivers in Washington State (H.R.1769). Anyone from the Chicago area should give a big shout of thanks out to these guys for co-sponsoring H.R. 1769 and standing up to protect some great whitewater.

American Whitewater What say ye, oh members of American Whitewater, of stickers that have your year of support on them? (i.e join in 2010 and get an AW sticker that indicates you were a member in 2010)

Andrew Fox I think AW should start a "sticker campaign" Every whitewater kayak should have an AW sticker on it. Stickers are only available by joining AW, of course. I think this would encourage people to join. It would become the right thing to do and everyone would know if you were a cheap ass and not a member of AW.
