Do we, or do we not, want people to come in and do business downtown? I couldn't believe how cheap it was to park in Birmingham. If I were the DDA I would be very upset over this. We're in a recession, maybe we should cut the city budget and do whatever we can to induce customers to patronize local businesses, so they can stay open (and pay their taxes).
