Antiques Roadshow

The british AR have marathons but I"ve never known the american AR to have any marathons. Bummer.

yea it is too bad. i like seeing the british ar, but the ones pbs runs here in baltimore are from the 90s.

It's a fun gamble. Thanks for the opportunity we had a few years ago with our randomly-granted tickets. It was a fun day for these three generations of guys to wheel our four items (two per ticket) into Tampa! :)

Any way I can convince you to come to Israel? AR is very popular here.

They told us the schedule for Madison would be out in the Fall and would air sometime next year. I got tix for my husband to bring his signed Hank Aaron broken game bat and we had a GREAT time. Hope we make it through the cutting room!

My sister and I had a great time at the Roadshow. The items we took were ordinary but I saw some whoppers. I am hoping to see the "painting" made out of dyed wool on the show we saw while in line. I hope it makes it to t.v. It was beautiful and very interesting. We made it through the lines fast but spent a lot of time milling around and looking at... Read More everyone's stuff. It was an awesome day!!!
P.S. Would love to have been able to purchase a t-shirt or something as a momento of the day. Why doesn't the Roadshow or PBS make Roadshow items to raise money to help keep our favorite show on t.v.? Sis an I came up with some great ideas for shirts if Roadshow is interested.

I went to Mad City, too. 4 Pm was very backed-up, and the lines were very long - didn't get out until almost 7 pm, but it was a blast! People have the weirdest stuff!

We got to the Madison event at 11 and were done by 2. One appraiser seemed rushed and unfriendly; the others were all very nice. The toy line was the longest, over an hour.
