Kimberly In case you all didn't hear Welington is engaged to Carrie. They will tie the knot in a very private ceremony of just the 2 of them in April, in Arizona. The happy couple will then have a reception in September when the season is over. Congrats to the both of them!!

We asked around and it sounds like when the team went from a Giants affiliate to a Mariners affiliate the owners at the time (the Bavasi's) wanted to change the name to something to reflect the Northwest climate. Their daughter really liked frogs, and there are a few different types of Pacific Northwest Tree Frogs, so that's how Webbly came to be! That's the long answer... mostly it's just because he's such a cool mascot :)

I have been trying to think of a couple stories that will still protect the gulity!! :) HA HA! The first part of July we got a new player on the team and Tyson was spending time at the hotel with him. They were good friends we found out. This set in motion a plan to have Anthony move in with but only if it was ok with Tyson. It was a day off and I sent Tyson a text message that we wanted to talk to him that night. I know he thought he was in trouble. He sat on the couch that night and I asked my husband well do you want to ask him and he’s all no, you can. I wish I would have had a camera for the look on his face. I asked him if he wanted Anthony to live here with us and I have never seen a bigger smile on his face and his first comment was can I go call him and when can he move in.

The other story is….it was August and the blanket I had made for Tyson to take on the road with him. This went on every road trip with him and they had a long home stand in August. He was in his room and I went upstairs and snagged the blanket off his bed to wash as it had yet to be washed. He looked at me like I took his best friend. He’s all it won’t shrink will it? I assured him it would not shrink but it needed to be washed after dragging it around the NWL all summer.

There are other stories and many memories I hold dear about Tyson. But in the end like I have told people, all we ever want as host families is for them to move up and keep pursuing their dreams no matter for what team.... See More

Everett AquaSox Baseball Club Multiple news outlets now reporting that Tyson Gillies, J.C. Ramirez and Phillipe Aumont have been traded to the Phillies for Cliff Lee. Best wishes to all three - great guys, fan favorites and sure to be impact players in the future!

What a great deal for us. We didn't give up much outside Aumont and managed to keep the Triunfel's, Mario Martinez's and Greg Halman's of our system.
