Arts Clayton Gallery Call for Entries - Photographers - ACP announces a request for proposals for 2010 Public Art. There’s no entry fee, a $12,000 budget, and proposals are due on January 15th, 2010.

From the everyday to the surreal, the computer can be used to enhance or create art. This exhibit aims to show what artists are creating by exploring the outer limits of traditional mediums
The show is open to all 2 dimensional digital media including but not limited to: manipulated photography, digital painting, compu...ter based illustration, and digital collages/montages from Georgia Artists 18 and older. All work submitted must be suitable for viewing by all audiences.
ENTRY FEES
Up to 4 entries per artist may be submitted for a non-refundable entry fee of $20 for Arts Clayton members, $25 for non-members. Artist agrees to 25% commission on sales of artwork.
DELIVERY OF ENTRIES
Bring framed or gallery wrapped original art, complete with hanging wire, to the Arts Clayton Gallery (136 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, GA) between December 1-5, from 10-4pm. Pick-up for artwork is Saturday, January 30th from 9-1pm. Artwork must be labeled on the back with name, title, and correct selling price. Decisions on which artwork will be included in the show will be determined by curators committee and jury panel.
AWARDS
$100 for 1st place, ribbon awards for 2nd, 3rd 4th, honorable mention and patron's award. Jury panel to determine award winners.
SHOW DATES
January 5-29, 2010. Opening reception January 7, 2010 5:30-7:30pm.
Deadline for fully framed entries is December 5, 2009.

Libations, music, and conversations about art flowed freely during the Fourth Annual Mistletoe and Merlot Wine Tasting. More than 150 people gathered at Arts Clayton on Thursday to sample the latest wines and support the Southern Crescent arts community.
