Kelly Kearney Acosta Mine was April Fool's Day! The scary tale of a a group of teens that went to a lakehouse for the weekend. And the evil twin sister of the host starts killing all the guests! And in the end, it's all an April Fools joke!

Laura This was also one of the first books I remember reading by myself. FYI, Bony-Legs was a creepy old woman who "lived deep in the woods, in a house that stood on chicken feet."

Rachel The first scary move I saw was definitely The Shining. And it wasn't so much Jack Nicholson (although the maze scene is terrifying) — I had nightmares about the sisters!

Elizabeth The first book that ever scared me was Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The artwork was very creepy!
