Leanne Mason What happened to the athletic models that used to model the clothes? The current models are just that-models. They do not look like athletes (with the exception of one who was around before the change the Gap).....It just is not the same anymore...

Aloha. I am so very fortunate to live and work on the island of Maui. As a Northern California girl, moving to Maui has allowed me to enjoy the warm waters and share my knowledge and experience as an elite fitness trainer, and incorporate water sport to inspire and empower women and men.

How funny! Is she also the ONLY one in the WHOLE catalog that has defined muscles too? Athleta used to have a really fit model that hasn't been in the catalog lately. Now SHE was fit!!

It's not the muscles I notice, it's her functional strength. She brachiates on swings and rings. I have given her a name and made her my fantasy private trainer. Primarily a yogini currently by circumstance; but I used to swm, do the light weight circuit, take pilates and floor work. So, it's not having the six pack that's important... but how the muscles work for living your life ...

Savannah Kuper

Savannah Kuper Hello, I just discovered Athleta Chi and have been in love with your clothing for as long as I can remember. I was wondering if you could answer a quick question regarding the magazine. Although I am only a senior in high school, I am passionate about writing, photography, art, nutrition, and exercise. What criteria is recommended to be a writer, art director, photographer, or model for athleta?

I have physical limitations and imbalances, so I have to table some of this indefinitely. Or just not stay in the advanced poses hardly any length of time. The essence is in the attempt. Of course, I do a more fusion-ish practice for that very reason.
