Atlanta Thrashers

Atlanta Thrashers The Thrashers are at the halfway point of the season and while the recent slide hasn't been fun a lot of the numbers are encouraging. Take a look.

my family and I were at 3 of the last 5 games up north, and it was embarassing. They need to start playing the full 60 minutes, and they need to finish their checks. They don't seem to be able to paly a full game.

No what they NEED to do is PAY the fans to watch this nonsense. Like my boy Colin Cowherd said awhile ago. "I don't wanna pay you to watch you rebuild, you pay me and THEN when you are good I will pay YOU!"

DUDE, its NOT minor league sports(nor do I find it professional on that level either)but it is PROFESSIONAL sports, PROFESSIONALISM. The best can be neutral. Like Mike Enrick. That guy calls Devils games but is in NO WAY biased for them, keeps his excitement fairly for both teams. Jeanerhettalthough DEFINITELY BIASED in his callings of a Buffalo ... See MoreGoal, is generally fair. Joe Benonati is really good at being fair. Howie Rose is another one.

One of the best? What sports do you listen to? I don't generally listen to Pro Sports on Radio. On Sundays for FBALL I go out. MLB you can't do it free, but i've heard Pat Hughes of the Cubs, phenominal. NBA, I don't care enough and you may have to pay. The NHL is the only league in which I listen to radio broadcasts.

Check your facts son right around this time last year the Penguins were either out of the playoffs or in 7th or 8th and people were ripping them left and right. But they managed to right the ship. As all good teams do during a long season they have rough spots where their play isn't where it needs to be but if they are good teams they play through it. Are the Thrashers that type of team? Time will tell but not Ryan.

Dude, they made a trade for Kunitz, Crosby was down for awhile. They had the talent, they just needed it to be healthy and on the same page. But the standings these days are a lot closer top to bottom. The Pens were virtually the same team they were the season before last, they were just battling the injury bug, but at full speed everybody knew ... See Morewhat would happen. I don't know how knew you are to hockey but the Penguins had a really good defensive core(don't forget they went the last 2 rounds and a couple games of the Washington series WITHOUT there best Dman in Ginchar)and this teams in diserray(sp)There so worried about the Kovy saga that I doubt they'll attempt a trade. We have a weak minor league system. we won' be doing anything significant. The worse aspect we have is DEFENSE, it doesn't matter WHO your goalie is, if your seeing quality scoring chances a night against you, you will burn out(to be expected)And were not that good(the East is rather weak)We are about a .500 team and in the 7th spot. But we could drop all the way to 10th by nights end! We wouldn't even be in the Top 8 right now if we were in the West

But anyway, Brodeur rebounded tonight and broke the record they deemed UNTOUCHABLE(I think for real now it is)

They let Weiss get to far into the slot, it's unusual for us to have a forward stationed there. It was a fluke, and sucks, considering we were only 1:21 from getting at least 1 more point. However, we are still doing great. It was 3-0. We tied the game. All you can do. In the other 9 Thrasher years, falling even 2-0 behind, meant we were going to lose that game. Chillax.

Thats because we don't have any big asses to park in front. Kovy and Max like to shoot from China and back. They aren't a go to the front of the puck with the net type players. even there breakaways they shoot from far out. If we stuck Valabik as a Forward we mighht have something with that.(NO WAY IS HE A DEFENSEMAN!)

It wasn't a fluke, it was a great play.

Tonight again proved why we suck. I mean in the 1st period alone. We give up TOO MANY Quality Scoring chances, forget the total shots.
