In a historic and unprecedented move, the Jostens Company has named Augustana senior offensive tackle Blaine Westemeyer as the winner of the 2009 Gagliardi Trophy. The Gagliardi Trophy goes annually to the NCAA Division III Outstanding Football Player of the Year.

Augustana College - Illinois The Vikings hung tough with Gonzaga for about 13 minutes before the Bulldogs closed the half on a 20-3 run en route to a 79-40 victory. Good effort from the guys. Coach Giovanine was pleased. Thanks to all of you for your support. The team appreciated it!

Sophomore Kayla Radloff was recently named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America team for 2009. Radloff earned third team status after a sensational season in goal for the Vikings and is the first All-America selection in Augustana women’s soccer history.
