Congratulations to William Malm who correclty identified the 1964 Dodge Dart GT in our Name-that-Vehicle contest.
Some other details on the car... This early production model to be equipped with the new 273 cu. in. thin wall cast series of V8's of small block engines called the LA engines. This new series of engines ...was expanded to the new 318 in '67, 340, 360, and 400 cu. in. engines. There was a prior 318 cu. in. engine from '57 through '66 which was a completely different thick wall cast engine. The 318-5.2L and 360-5.9L LA engines were used through the Magnum series in trucks and vans. It was also one of the first to use a Chrysler built 4 speed transmission.
