I agree with Judy ... it would be helpful. This year we would not be able to use the transfers as we are leaving early and then staying in Nice for a few extra days (we are taking Grand France with Provence Extension).

I believe that the cost for internet service is 15 Euro for 1 week. That's what it was last year.

Loved my experience! Cruised from Hungary to Germany-- very relaxing way to travel and still see so much. Consider arriving 1 day early to account for flight problems; you don't want to "miss the boat."

We cruised Budapest to Amsterdam on The Tranquility in 2007 and it was absolutely wonderful.I agree to arrive a day or 2 early to get over your jet lag and have more time to see things. Budapest is beautiful and ranks right up there with Paris and Venice as my favorite cities.There is NO better way to travel than river cruising and Avalon does a great job.

I was on the Legenday Danube, Prague to Budapest sailing, in November. Wifi was 5 Euro for 24 hours or 15 Euros for the entire week. I was able to use my laptop in our cabin and lounge most of the time. There will be no connection while you are in the locks due to the cement walls.

I sent photos from my laptop, while in the loungs, on the Danube, to FaceBook. My friends hated me. Have fun.

We had an excellent vacation on the Tranquility from Prague to Budapest last October. All the details were handled perfectly.

Hello Marion, Snorkel gear is free of charge. There is a small fee if you would like to rent a wetsuit, however since you are going in April the water temperature is normally warm enough to go without one. We hope that you enjoy your Galapagos cruise!
