Steve Jobs and the Apple crowd all dance to the beat of their own drums. Of course, Avid users are just as zealous. The notion that cutters should have their choice of tools is intriguing but will take a while to find traction long as FCP keeps the entry price low, keeps improving, and continues to work with third-party hardware. I'm still glad I found Avid :-)
