Tegwen Just got my parents to watch LOM from the beginning one episode at a time then onto Ashes. They absolutely loved it! Well they should they were around in '73! Two more fans to the list!

Tegwen I noticed also how appropriate some songs can be on Ashes and LOM - especially the lyrics - Green Door - Vault had a Green Door - Joe Jackson It's Different for Girls when Alex is being moody with Gene, I'm just worried what Ashes to Ashes might mean????

I watched the first few episodes of LOM for the first time having watched A2A, bit of a weird order, but here are a few things i realised;
1. Alex and Sam both confide in the barmen, Sam with Nelson and Alex with Luigi
2. There are two quite identical scenes in both series, S1 E3 LOM, dunno what episode a2a, when gene re...verses and the look Sam/Alex give him is really similar. You may be thinking they are directed by the same directors so there is bound to be some scenes that duplicate, but then maybe that will be the same again in series three, so we could see some of LOM emerging into a2a. I really am too obsessed with this show :)

Tegwen Just watched the scene in Luigis when Gene and Alex very nearly kiss when Alex asks him what would he do in his last few seconds on earth! Amazing scene - so tense - the look on Alex's face, she's so disappointed. I know it looks like he doesn't go with her out of respect to her because she's drunk - but I wonder if... he doesn't because if he did, she might feel different in the morning and he's afraid of being hurt by her??? Is Gene really that soft I wonder?
