Leah Can we post on here if we have 2nd hand carriers to sell?

Baby Carriers Downunder Video from the Brisbane IBW09 picnic & walk @Roma St Parklands today...thanks to those who came despite another scorching hot day! :)
Length:5:36

Karen Khoo Saw a petite-ish lady carrying her son (I think) on her back in a sling... tied... I'm guessing (as I'm not a wrap person) is that called a rebozo style... I sooo wanted to talk to her... but didn't pluck the courage to do so... I went into the shop she was in... looked around the shop, had a good look at her cute baby... sleeping on her back with his face tucked into the sling then left the shop... then when I finally plucked up enough courage & went back to the shop... she'd already left... what a pity... was going to ask her if i could take a photo... *sigh* oh well... next time perhaps... :-)

Canberra Babywearers are meeting on Wednesday 21st January around 9:30am at Kambah Adventure Playground in Springbett Street.
We're pretty easy to spot - look for the group of women with kids tied to their back, front, hip... everyone welcome.
Paulus, can you add this to the events please?

Hi Pamela,
You can try resetting the password on your Google account if you have the email address that you used to sign up to Google. It's probably best to post your ISO/wanted ad in the group's FSOT thread. You can make a stretchy wrap like the Hug-a-Bub quite easily (and cheaply) by buying 5m of cotton jersey from Sp...otlight or other fabric places. Good luck with your first birth as a doula! It's great that you're spreading the babywearing love.

Emma Davidson There's a Canberra Babywearers meet the week starting the 19th, just waiting on confirmation of the day. Will post back here when it's known.

Pamela Hi All, I lost my google password so have not been as active on the group. I know this is a big ask but does anyone have an ergo and a hug a bub they would like to either donate or sell cheap for me to use as a doula. I have every other type of sling and would love to have them all so my clients can try them out and se...e how they work before they fork out the money. I am a student doula at the moment and have my first birth at the end of this month and am about to head off and have a sling lesson with this client. I plan to encourage babywearing as much as I can!

Hayley
Hi, Have I come to the right place to try and buy the scootababy hip carrier?
Thanks
