Hi Michael, This Saturday (NZ time) 28th November marks the 30th Anniversary of one of our most tragic aviation disasters.When an Air New Zealand DC 10 flight TE 901 slammed into Mt Erebus killing all passengers and crew onboard the scenic sightseeing flight to the Antarctic. The late great Sir Edmund Hillary was due t...o be on that flight as a commentator but instead gave it up to a friend. TVNZ (Television New Zealand) has a dedicated webpage on its website with all the info and video I think you’ll need. http://tvnz.co.nz/erebus-news and ONE NEWS (TV ONE – TVNZ) will be covering events on air so I hope you can pick up their feeds on the satellite.
