We were making a regular one and decided to try some panko bread crumbs mixed in with the sausage to lighten it up. (i know, silly) Anyway, instead of using the panko, my husband erroneously put shredded sweetened coconut in with the sauage. Unknowingly cooked it and served it! People LOVED it!! With some pineapple chunks inside, it could be the Hawaiian Bacon Explosion!!
