San Diego Potter's Guild holds their annual sale next weekend, 11/14 & 11/15 in Spanish Village.
Thousands of pieces of hand-made ceramics by many of San Diego's finest potters feature works from functional to decorative.

The Christmas Story Tree, performed nightly at Balboa Park December Nights started out as a program in the
sanctuary of Del Cerro Baptist Church in 1976.
In 1986 the Tree moved to Balboa Park’s Spreckels Organ Pavilion and has been performed there ever since.
The 80 voice choir, the 20-piece orchestra, and drama team presents the story of Christmas in music and living scenes - along with spectacular lighting displays.

Balboa Park The Bea Evenson Fountain, between the Natural History Museum & RH Fleet, was built in 1972 & named in honor of the woman who founded the Committee of 100, a group dedicated to preserving the Park's architecture. The fountain can shoot water nearly 60 feet in the air, & the height is controlled by a wind gauge mounted nearby - increasing wind lowers water pressure & fountain height.
