Bruce, you could look into getting a Monster Pod. It's a rubbery disk with a tripod screw so you can toss your camera on the dashboard. The Merritt's bad enough without worrying about holding a camera.

I like Jerry's blog, he's on the mark here. It really has to return to local as the saving solution, using both traditional distribution (terrestrial) and new (IT) together to best serve both the listener (most important part of the whole scenerio) and the sponsor (the necessary evil needed to keep the power running). Don't understand the section where he asks for worst or best radio groups- no radio group is best! Should go back to maximum ownership being 5 - 7 local radio period.
