John Koehlmoos

John Koehlmoos I just did my first runthrough of Core Synergistics. To tell you the truth, I felt kind of lost. It was tough. Bunch of new stuff I've never really done before. But I got one hell of a sweat out of it. Anyways, I'm looking forward to doing this again so I can get more comfortable with what's going on and do better.

Tony..alot of people missed your online chat tonite and wondered what you had to say. I would list all 13 of steps in your Circle of Life, but Id be afraid to list them incorrectly. I can say the ones that touched me the most were: Communication: ask questions, Info is Power, Do Scary Things that dont Kill You, Mentor ...Somebody:its not all about you, Think and Act out of the Box, Do Nothing:"in the nothingness is when you find the answers", Pick Right over Wrong, Be Amazing and last but not least Find the Funny! Awesome and Inspiring..cant wait for your book! Thanks for the words of wisdom tonite! AnnieRead More

Sean Gagne

Sean Gagne P90x is the best thing that has happened to me in regards to my physical shape. I'm 24 and in the best shape of my life. On week 11 and went from 11.5% body fat down to 6% and still going. It definitely is a life changing experience if you change your life style, both eating and exercising. Looking forward to starting phase 2 pretty soon!

Obesity is historically linked to about one third of the increase in domestic health spending since the mid-1980s and is a key factor in the rise in private insurance premiums, Medicare and Medicaid spending.

It would be great, if in this country, we really started to "care" about our bodies - and treat them with the respect the body deserves. Far too often, people chose to put off/lower prioritize taking care of themselves. Sortofa like what we have done with our planet. I know, I just went a little far, but the parallelism is there. As a society, ... Read MoreAmerica glamorizes taking care of the carb/sugar kid in all of us. I completely agree with the posting...all 4 recommendations/agenda points are valid.

They forgot one: 5. Teach and Incentivize Americans to take care of themselves...in their homes. Products, like those offered by BB are a great foundation for people at all levels of fitness. If you purchase a at-home fitness program, and track and monitor your progress, tax and insurance credits. Simple enough! :)

Rahul you should ask Mark Briggs about how to approach someone. He told a great story on our last coach's call about that very situation and she was grateful how he spoke to her.

It is about approaching someone with honest care in your voice and heart for that person. You truly want to see them healthy and you are not going to judge them for being obese.

I agree with Kari on so much of what she said. Until you have walked in those shoes I think it is hard to understand. It is not a lifestyle. No one wants to be fat, but the problem is people get comfortable and as anyone would know change is scary. Especially if you do not have people around you that support you. ... Read More

I was not an overweight child. I played on two different sports teams until we moved to Chicago. There was a huge personal event that changed and the weight started coming on. I made a choice to get P90 and work on getting the weight off.

I am also like Kari that I am told by nurses every year they would kill for my numbers when they do my tests. To have to pay more for insurance because I am still in the process of losing my weight is insane. When as she said they are skinny people that are not healthy. That is not the solution.

I did great days 1-60 but I'm finding a bit of plateau with P90 on 61-68 so far. But I'm attributing that to high stress lately which makes weight loss even harder.
