what's going on with q uran and the rest of the ree's? I can't recall any uraniums falling that much by a percentage base a few years back and climbing back up. I do believe it is a major bull market, just it seems unusual for an emerging sector to take a hit this early in the uptrend. Fundamentals or not, now those... that bought at higher prices will be selling just to "get even", not to mention the short-sellers. Can't complain though, the ree's have got me 700+% in a few months. In it for the long haul.Read More

the herd is still oblivious to that sector and I can't think of a single mania that lasted that short. I don't think the party is over. Just figured your geological background could make sense of the sell off from a fundamental perspective. The limelight is on the precious metals for now.

You make a good point. When everything in the market is doing well people are less likely to take extra risk (and I see some lower risk stocks with very high reward potential out there, ones that make $$). None of that changes the strong fundamentals for strategic metals. The run up might be more gradual that's all.
