Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities Join supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities for a Discussion Panel set for Wednesday, February 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at our office in St. Paul.

Together, we’ll discuss issues that our agency faces everyday:
• The difficulty of recruiting men to mentor, especially men of color
• The growing nu...mber of boys who sit on our waiting list
• Best practices for communicating with volunteers
• How to be creative financially during harder economic times

Anyone is welcomed to attend this free event. Dinner will be provided at 6:00 p.m.; discussion begins at 6:15. To RSVP or to request more information, email Everyday Advocate Team Coordinator Mike Marcotte at mmarcotte@bigstwincities.org

Help us work on projects and tasks at the BBBS offices in St. Paul. Feel free to come in at anytime during the day for any length of time. This event is ideal for small groups who are interested in volunteering together. Send your availability to Mike at mmarcotte@bigstwincities.org

Glitter Ball 3: Big Hair Big Hearts, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters
Friday, January 29
Music Box Theatre, Minneapolis
Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., music starts at 8:00 p.m.

Join BBBS, Minnesota Monthly Magazine, the Minnesota Rollergirls, the United Way Emerging Leaders and others as we turn the clock back to the 1980s for an evening of big hair, big music and big hearts. Listen to music from The Notties, Alison Scott, White Light Riot and others while enjoying drink specials at 1980s prices. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the show.
