Bioneers Women Changing the Way We Eat

Join an amazingly diverse group of women, including Nina Simons, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Bioneers, who are assembling to discuss “Women Who Change the Way We Eat” at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco next Monday, August 16 at 6pm.

...
The panel, who all connected through Bioneers, includes Temra Costa, author of “Farmer Jane” (who will also be leading a panel at this year’s Bioneers Conference), Jesse Cool, renowned Bay Area restaurateur and chef (Fleet Street), cookbook author and food activist. The discussion will be moderated by Kira Gould, editor of the anthology “Women in Green” which looks at women’s impact in the Sustainability and Green Design movements.

The event promises to be lively and entertaining, with ample time for interaction. Among the topics to be addressed include: how women’s approaches are affecting the movements toward fair, healthy and local food, the key role of storytelling to social and environmental change, the relationship between food, human and environmental health and the key role of food justice in altering our collective course.
