Birmingham Botanical Gardens is Alabama's largest living museum with more than 10,000 different plants in its living collections. The Gardens' 67.5 acres contains 25+ unique gardens, 30+ works of original outdoor sculpture and miles of serene paths.

HollyDay Magic is a Birmingham holiday tradition held every December. The holidays will be upon us in the blink of an eye! Young craftsmen ages 5–11 fashion their own gifts and ornaments, many from natural materials, and decorate their own cupc...akes for a snack. Since all the crafts are hands-on, be sure your child wears play clothes for an afternoon of fun.
Space is limited to 100 children per day so early registration is encouraged. This event is a tradition at the Gardens and is traditionally is a sell-out. For further information or to register by phone, please call 205.414.3958 on or after November 1st.Read More

The decision to extend the Fall Plant Sale into a two-day event turned out to be a wise one, as the sale helped bring in nearly $30,000 for The Gardens! There is no way to express the gratitude we owe to each and everyone of our wonderful volunteers – from those who helped with plant booths to those who helped load car...s, the cashiers to those who helped sell memberships.
