Mark White I have to say BLOOM 08 was a great experience for me as a student of horticulture and garden design, I would highly recommend it to any students out there. Put your ideas forward to the panel, BLOOM is a great spring board, you never know were they will lead you (DO IT NOW) . My garden (An Gairdin Blasta, The Tasty Gar...den) in 08 used only edible plants, most grown from seed in the months leading up to the show. I also had an UNDERGROUND WATERBUTT, which was used to harness runoff from the paving and rills I had placed in the garden as part of my water feature. I got a Bronze medal.

Frazer McDonogh Many Bloom garden designers will be at the Niall Mellon Township trust, family charity weekend this saturday and sunday from 12-5.30pm at the National garden exhibition centre in Wicklow.
