Bloomingdale Farmer's Market Time to use up odds and ends....Last night I made a confit of the last of the SnowBear baby eggplant that had been looking at me too long in the fridge, Painted Hand goat shanks, sliced butternut squash, a large sliced onion, a cup of red wine, a fair amount of olive oil, garlic, ginger, two handfuls of spinach. In th...e oven, covered, for 3 1/2 hours. It was very savory.
