BCBSNM on FB
Why has BCBSNM joined Facebook:
Facebook allows us to share the up-to-the-minute information important to our members, clients, doctors, and even the public at large. The site provides a forum share questions, experiences, and comments regarding health care coverage, legislative changes, health care terminology and crisis preparedness.
Our goal is to enhance the service we already provide on the phone, on our websites, and through our relationships, by giving you new place tell us what information you need from us.
What is not allowed on the Facebook page?
Our Facebook page is a professional, business site. It is never a good idea to post something you wouldn't say at work, or a picture you wouldn't show at work. Comments and photos that are unprofessional, inappropriate for the workplace will be taken down.
Most importantly, the usual privacy rules for personal health information (PHI) apply. Comments or posts which contain PHI may be taken down. For help with coverage questions, members should call the number on the back of their BCBSNM ID card, log in to Blue Access for Members at www.bcbsnm.com and click “contact us,” or reach out to us on Twitter at twitter.com/bcbsnm.
