Thank you. I printed the chart - very helpful. There is also an analysis of what words get most retweeted at Fastcompany.com/node/1367870. Trying to maximize Twitter Power.

Interesting that a Facebook's Twitterfeed is gaining traction -- 7% isn't bad. I wonder what percentage of higher ed Facebook status updates are fed by Twitter tools?

I have been using Facebook to post to Twitter from our campus page, so that's why I put it in my list. But I was actually surprised it was #4, didn't really think that many people were using it already.

BlueFuego Q of the Week! Sasha (@sashawolff on Twitter) from Davenport asks the question: How important do you think your university's Wikipedia page is? And who edits your company/institution's Wikipedia entry? Let us know below!

If you do edit your page, I highly recommend doing it from an IP address that can't be linked directly to your school, since this would detract from the credibility of the most unbiased edits.

Personally, I'd rather take the lashes and edit the page with an account. Don't put your name on it that opens you to harassment - but state who you are if it comes up on your talk page. If you keep the spirit of creating or editing a well cited article and you get flamed because of where you work, let the flames happen. Work within the parameters ... Read Moreof the community. They care deeply about those articles and mostly welcome your help. But this is a tough one and it's only my opinion. I'm not sure there is a good answer.
