Bobby if you ever read these comments, as a big time follower of yours, I will root for you in the 71, but please God exhaust all other chances first!!! You're too good and you have way too many believers to keep signing with these back of the pack teams...

I sure hope he doesn't sign with the 71 team. It would just be another year of painful 20th place finishes. I'd rather see him win in the truck series than suck in cup.

Um, I just did some quick research and Bobby has averaged 20th in each race in the 71 car, which hasn't SNp'd since Bobby has been driving it. While his replacement has averaged 31st in a fully-funded car!!!! Looks like pretty good numbers to me.
The truck series does NOT get the coverage that the CUP races do, so in all likelihood, Bobby ... See Morewould get forgotten about.
How many people actually watch ALL three series on a race weekend? I can't because I don't have cable and local radio does NOT broadcast the truck races like they do the cup races. ALL the truck races are on cable, so only those with SPEED are going to be able to watch .
All teams have a bad week, Bobby and the 71 are doing well for being a Start and Park most of the year!!!

Regarding the Bobby talk: Um, Bobby has been known at times to talk in circles.. without (you know) really saying anything (LOL). It's a rather endearing quality we love about him, so we just get use to it. :D (LOL, I am SO in trouble!)

Daniel, Bobby says a whole about nothing to try to talk about something. Does that make sense? When someone says "Bobby talk" or 'you are talking like Bobby" many knows what that means. If you don't you will totally get it next time you are at an Outing or chat with him in person. He just the neatest guy but pretty tight lipped! But, you can tell he wants to tell you stuff but can't.

I could have swore that right around the last caution Bobby said something to Slugger about the tire choice "we now know that for next year". I tried to rewind the raceview to hear it again but was beinf tempermental and didn't want to miss the live conversation.
