Music in the Zoo
The 17th Annual SUBWAY® Music in the Zoo concert series will launch on June 12 with The Derek Trucks Band at the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater. Highlights from this year’s lineup include one of the premier American roots-rock bands, the BoDeans, is slated for June 28 along with the legend of the roots-reggae music scene Toots and the Maytals on July 3. Grammy award winning artist Keb’ Mo’ will be making his sixth appearance at the Zoo this summer on July 17 while Tina & the B-Sides reunite after 10 years on July 25. The series also notes Colorado’s Yonder Mountain String Band at the Zoo on August 15, and Texas-native and country musician Pat Green is scheduled on August 19.
