That's assuming that since their constituents didn't support Obama in 08, they don't support his push for health care reform, of course. At least they're not JUST beholden to the insurance companies, like it seems that many in the Senate are...

This is no excuse really, polling indicates that even in some of the reddest of districts, the majority of people want this to pass.

Maybe Boccieri needs an eye opener to make sure he knows that his constituents are NOT for Stupak as it strips away basic rights for women and that YES they are for health care reform! Anyone in his district ready to stand up and show him that they are ready for change?

I am in Rep. Boccieri's district and was EXTREMELY disappointed and disgusted that he voted no.

By 'his constituents' he means Blue Cross Blue Shield.

He is of course absolutely correct. Health care insurance and delivery in the US is twice as expensive and has error rates approaching 7%.
What kind of business gets away with that kind of price gouging and poor quality to boot?
The one that buys the most political clout!
