Bryan Duncan is a “wordplayer." He's been a singer/songwriter for 40 years and now is an author with the release of “HOGWASH” and “Dear God… Really?”
He was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2007 along with Amy Grant and AL Green.
Bryan is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a member of Black Sheep Harley Davidson’s For Christ.
He is newly wed to Casandra and new “father” to two teenage girls. His two sons are in their 20’s.
Bryan sings unplugged, with the NehoSoul Band and with the Los Angeles club band the Sugar Caddies.
“My primary purpose in life is to serve as a monument to God’s grace,” he states with a smile.
Bryan Duncan started his career in Contemporary Christian Music in 1973 with the Sweet Comfort Band, and 1985 marked the begining of his solo career. Bryan has sold in excess of 1 million records, released 15 solo albums, and appeared on several compilation projects. He has released three solo video projects and one joint tour video as well as having done the video for the smash hit, "Left Behind". Bryan has been the recipient of three Dove Awards and has received multiple Dove Award nominations.
According to Duncan, “the desire for creative interaction that comes from an accumulation of creative minds” hit hard in 2003. “I had forgotten what I loved about music; that groove that just makes you feel good right now,” recalls Duncan.
Listening to a group of seasoned players out of Seattle during a jam session, Duncan remembered the passion that first spurred his musical desire. Like an injection of new blood The NehoSoul Band was born, with Bryan Duncan at the helm.
